Sharon Stone is teaming up with Kim Kardashian on a new biographical series about Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor.

The series, produced by BBC Arts, will explore Taylor’s extraordinary life and legacy. Stone, known for her activism in HIV/AIDS awareness, shares a personal connection with Taylor through their mutual work in this field, recounting heartfelt memories, including the time Taylor sent her 100 roses following her stroke.

Kim Kardashian, a long-time admirer of Taylor, joined the project early on alongside Joan Collins. Paris Jackson, Taylor's goddaughter, also contributes, reflecting on her godmother’s trailblazing efforts in using her fame to advocate for HIV/AIDS. Paris praises Taylor’s fearless approach to life and her enduring impact on those around her. The series will feature never-before-heard recordings of Elizabeth Taylor, as well as interviews with close family members, including her son Chris Wilding, granddaughter Naomi Wilding, and stepson Todd Fisher.
Other notable contributors include Taylor’s former boyfriend and actor George Hamilton, her publicist Sally Morrison, and AIDS Project Los Angeles Executive Director Bill Misenhimer, who collaborated closely with Taylor during the early years of the AIDS epidemic. Stone speaks extensively about Taylor's acting career, their shared experiences as women in the Hollywood studio system, and their mutual commitment to activism. The series will delve into Taylor’s groundbreaking career and the personal sacrifices she made as she broke barriers in Hollywood and beyond.

Additional insights come from Elizabeth Taylor's stylist and assistant Jorjett Strumme, personal photographer Gianni Bozzacchi, and hair stylist José Eber, who became a close friend in the 1980s. The show will also feature commentary from Kate Andersen Brower, the author of the only authorized biography of Elizabeth Taylor. The series, titled *Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar*, is produced by Passion Pictures, known for their award-winning work on documentaries such as *Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story* and *Lady Boss: The Jackie Collins Story*. The show is executive produced by Kari Lia, Hamish Fergusson, and Kim Kardashian.
Directed by James House and produced by Jemma Chisnall and Caroline Sciama, the series will explore how Elizabeth Taylor transformed Hollywood and fame itself, challenging conventions throughout her life.
