Kourtney Kardashian recently celebrated her son Rocky’s first birthday with a delightful Disney-themed party, filled with magic and memorable moments.
Kourtney and her husband, Travis Barker, marked the occasion at their home, transforming the space into a Disney-inspired wonderland that reflected her lifelong love for all things Disney. The celebration featured plenty of Disney magic, with details reminiscent of classic Disneyland attractions. Kourtney, known for her passion for the theme park, had Disney treats, colorful decorations, and even a full-size carousel for guests to enjoy.

The party paid homage to her Disney-inspired baby shower from the previous year, with one standout detail: a vintage-style “Baby Barker” sign, which had also graced her baby shower. It greeted guests at the entrance, setting a nostalgic tone for the birthday festivities. The Disney theme extended throughout the entire event, with creative, Disney-inspired snacks prepared by Chef Khristiane, known as ChefKLA on Instagram. The food included a range of popular Disney Park treats such as Mickey-shaped pretzels, candy apples, and ice cream sandwiches, which brought a bit of Disneyland’s charm to the backyard. Chef Khristiane also made two birthday cakes for Rocky—one large cake adorned with a Mickey Mouse silhouette and another small, coconut-flake-covered cake.
The dessert table was a hit with Mickey-shaped popcorn, Minnie Mouse pancakes, and Disney-inspired corndogs, grilled cheese with tomato soup, and fruit salad in character shapes. The celebration didn’t end at home. Kourtney and her family also made a trip to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim to continue Rocky’s birthday celebrations. The family had an exclusive visit to Club 33, Disneyland’s members-only lounge, where Kourtney snapped a photo of the iconic Club 33 doorbell. The trip was made even more special when Kourtney, Travis, and Rocky met Mickey Mouse in person and explored Disney California Adventure Park. This Disney adventure continued a tradition for Kourtney, who frequently visits the park with her children and has incorporated her Disney love into family celebrations.
Kourtney and Travis welcomed Rocky on November 1, 2023, and since then, he’s become the newest member of their blended family. Travis shares three children from his previous marriage, and Kourtney has three children with ex-partner Scott Disick. Their children have formed a close-knit, blended family, with everyone sharing in Rocky’s magical first birthday. The couple announced Kourtney’s pregnancy in June 2023, with a playful nod to Travis’ band, Blink-182. During a concert, Kourtney recreated a scene from the band’s iconic “All the Small Things” music video, holding up a sign that read, “Travis I’m Pregnant.”
Despite the joy, Kourtney faced a scare later in her pregnancy when she needed a life-saving surgery. In September, Kourtney underwent a critical procedure that saved both her life and her baby’s. She publicly expressed gratitude on Instagram, thanking her doctors and her husband for their unwavering support. Travis was on tour when the emergency arose but rushed to be by Kourtney’s side throughout the surgery and recovery. Reflecting on the experience, Kourtney shared, “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock.”
