Kendall Jenner has officially said goodbye to her blonde hair, returning to her natural brunette shade and debuting a bold new style.

The 29-year-old model showcased a chic, sleek bob haircut in a striking black-and-white Instagram portrait, shot by renowned photographer Mert Alas. Posing topless, Kendall confidently flaunted her fresh look, captioning the post with a haircut emoji. Fans were quick to notice that her new hairstyle marks a complete departure from the golden blonde hue she adopted just a few months ago, a transformation that had initially shocked her followers.

In September, Kendall surprised everyone by switching from her signature dark brown locks to a vibrant blonde. Posting a photo with the caption "blonded," she credited New York-based celebrity hairstylist Jenna Perry with helping her achieve the daring new look in preparation for Milan Fashion Week. Her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, along with best friend Hailey Bieber, all celebrated the change in her Instagram comments. However, fan reactions were mixed, with some fans commenting that the blonde shade “washed her out” and didn't suit her as well as her natural color.  Kendall’s return to her natural brunette look coincides with a new chapter, as she celebrated her 29th birthday on November 3.

Her family and friends flooded her with warm messages, including her mom, Kris Jenner, who called Kendall her “beautiful angel.” In a heartfelt Instagram post, the 69-year-old momager shared throwback photos and praised Kendall’s kind and generous nature. “You are the kindest girl I know, and so funny, smart, sweet, generous, and thoughtful,” Kris wrote. She went on to say how proud she is of Kendall, whom she described as a “special girl, so beautiful inside and out.” Kendall later expressed gratitude for the birthday wishes on her Instagram, writing, “Another year I’m blessed, thank you,” along with a photo of herself blowing out the candles on her birthday cake. As Kendall enters the final year of her twenties, she reflects on the expectations that came with her famous family.

Earlier this year, she shared that she once envisioned herself becoming a mother by age 27. However, at nearly 30, she is fully embracing her independence. “I feel like I’m still so young,” Kendall shared with Vogue, adding that she enjoys her "kidless freedom" while also admiring her siblings' families. Kendall’s four sisters—Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kylie—have 13 children between them, ranging from toddlers to teens. She explained that, while she sees the joy her sisters have found in motherhood, she’s happy to experience life without that commitment for now. “One day I’ll make my way, probably,” she said, acknowledging that she’s in no rush to settle down.

On the romantic front, Kendall’s love life has been a subject of much speculation. She was previously linked to NBA star Devin Booker, with whom she dated from 2020 to 2022. Recently, reports suggested that the two have been “hanging out again,” although sources close to Kendall say she wants to remain single for the time being. Since her split from Booker, Kendall was also briefly linked to Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny in 2023. While the two reconnected over the summer, a source confirmed that they are no longer romantically involved and that Kendall is currently enjoying her independence, focusing on herself and her career. From her evolving style choices to embracing her single, independent life, Kendall’s latest transformation symbolizes a fresh start. With her natural brunette hair and chic bob, Kendall seems ready for whatever lies ahead, fully embracing this new era with confidence and poise.
