Kim Kardashian recently shared the challenges of solo parenting while her ex-husband Kanye West remains away.

In a conversation with friend Zoe Winkler on the *What The Winkler?* podcast, Kardashian, 44, revealed that she has felt like a "single parent" as West has been out of the country for over 57 days with his new wife, Bianca Censori. During this time, the SKIMS founder has been caring for their four children—North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5—largely on her own.
Kardashian shared with Winkler that she often doesn’t discuss her parenting struggles due to fear of judgment, but acknowledged how exhausting it is to handle everything. Winkler empathized, calling Kardashian’s parenting situation “insane,” and Kardashian agreed, explaining that even with a strong support network, she sometimes feels overwhelmed by the weight of it all. She compared her days to a “pit stop” in a race car race, juggling constant demands from her kids and the chaos of their daily routines. The reality star also emphasized how important her kids’ schedules are to her.
Despite her busy work life, Kardashian makes it a priority to drive her children to school every day as a bonding experience. Yet, mornings are far from calm; Kim described them as “madness,” with each child having different requests and timelines, making it a daily challenge to keep everyone on track. Kardashian touched on the importance of giving her kids room to make mistakes, although she admitted this sometimes leads to embarrassing moments. She recounted a recent incident where her son Saint posted on her Instagram without permission, which happened to coincide with a major political event, leading to a social media backlash.
She addressed the incident on the podcast, explaining that her son didn’t understand the timing or context of his post. Kim has since set stricter rules, including limiting Saint’s access to social media. She also mentioned the importance of having “grace” as a parent, understanding that her kids will make mistakes just as she does. Beyond managing their needs, Kardashian admitted that she sometimes struggles with setting firm boundaries but has been working to “put her foot down” to help teach her kids important lessons. She shared how letting them get away with everything would ultimately hinder their growth, saying, “If I don’t do this now and fight through the tears... the lesson won’t be learned.”

Since her divorce from West was finalized in November 2022, Kardashian has been focused on balancing work and motherhood without dating.
