Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly 'scared' of Travis Barker's ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, despite never having met her.

According to a source, Kourtney has been avoiding any interaction with Shanna, which has led to tension in her relationship with Travis. Kourtney and Travis, who have been open about their relationship and their desire to have a baby named Rocky Thirteen, are navigating their blended family dynamics.

Kourtney shares three children—Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9—with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Travis has two children—Alabama, 18, and Landon, 20—with Shanna Moakler. Shanna and Travis were married for four years before divorcing in 2008 after a tumultuous relationship. A source told Life & Style in June 2024 that Kourtney avoids Shanna as much as possible.
Meanwhile, Travis reportedly "can’t stand" Scott Disick and avoids him as well. “[The] truth is, [Kourtney’s] scared of Shanna, so she doesn’t want to risk seeing her face to face,” the source said. “So, unfortunately, it still does create situations where they have to take time apart on the weekends. It’s beyond aggravating that Scott and Shanna still have this sort of power over them.” The source added that while Kourtney and Travis are careful about not overstepping boundaries with their kids, it does create tension in their relationship.

Shanna Moakler has been vocal about her feelings toward the Kardashians. On the Dumb Blonde podcast in January 2024, she accused Travis and Kourtney of "alienating" her as a parent and called the Kardashians "disgusting." She mentioned that Travis always wanted to be seen as the "super dad" and that her children were drawn to the Kardashian's fame and lifestyle.
In a June 2024 interview with People, Shanna stated that she has never met Kourtney or the new baby, Rocky Thirteen, but acknowledged that her children love the baby and enjoy spending time with Travis and Kourtney.
