Emma Roberts has officially confirmed that she and Kim Kardashian are reuniting after their collaboration on FX's American Horror Story: Delicate.

The 33-year-old actress, recently granted a restraining order against a stalker, and the 43-year-old reality star will serve as co-executive producers for the upcoming Netflix series, Calabasas.

During an appearance on SiriusXM's The Spotlight With Jessica Shaw, Roberts provided a glimpse into the project and discussed the possibility of her and Kardashian starring in the series. "Kim and I are executive producing a show for Netflix called Calabasas," Roberts revealed. "We have the amazing Marlene King, who did Pretty Little Liars, as our showrunner. I'm obsessed with her and Pretty Little Liars."

Roberts expressed her admiration for Pretty Little Liars, saying, "I remember seeing that show and thinking, 'I wish I was on that show.' It was just so cool and so fun." She added, "There's not much I can share other than that I want the next The O.C., and if we do this right, it'll be a little The O.C., a little Pretty Little Liars." "Kim and I are just two Calabasas girls going back to our roots," Roberts continued, emphasizing their connection to the setting of the series.

Deadline first announced in April that Roberts and Kardashian would be teaming up again for this new venture. Calabasas is based on the novel If You Lived Here You'd Be Famous by Now by Via Bleidner. The plot follows Via, a 16-year-old sheltered Midwestern Catholic school girl whose world is turned upside down when her family moves and she has to adapt to the fast-paced environment of Calabasas High. The story explores the complexities of identity and social dynamics in a school where appearances can be deceiving and everyone is striving to be someone else.

Amazon describes the book as "an insider's collection of funny and warmhearted stories about coming of age in the Los Angeles suburb famed for birthing the Kardashian-Jenners and the Bling Ring." Roberts also shared her excitement about working with Kardashian again and reminisced about her earlier encounters with the reality star. "I used to shop at her clothing store Dash before they had their TV show, and I would see them in the store," Roberts recalled. "It's just so funny how life works. I still miss Dash," she laughed.

When asked if there were any roles for her or Kardashian in the series, Roberts remained open to the possibility. "You know, anything is possible. I think maybe. Yeah," she admitted. "Nothing is written yet for us. But we're not opposed." This isn't Roberts' first experience as an executive producer. She previously worked on Netflix's First Kill (2022) and Hulu's Tell Me Lies (2022). Meanwhile, the fifth season of Kim's reality show, The Kardashians, was recently added to Hulu's library. A release date for Calabasas has not yet been announced by Netflix, but anticipation for the series continues to build as Roberts and Kardashian bring their combined star power and creative vision to the project.
