The controversy began when Kourtney shared a screenshot of a text conversation between her, Simon Huck, Phil Riportella, and Allie Rizzo Sartiano on her Instagram story. In the chat, Allie jokingly suggested launching the "YASS Kourtney" group chat. Simon responded to her message, mentioning Kim's accusation: “Kim threw us all under the bus when there was not one actual friend on the chat.”

Kourtney found humor in the situation, responding with laughing emojis. While she didn’t provide a direct caption, she tagged all three friends involved in the chat. Kourtney clarified, stating, “I believe it was just my sisters from the surveys I’ve been taking,” emphasizing the loyalty of her friends, who are true "ride or dies."
