The episode began with a family trip to Cabo, but notably, Kourtney was not part of the excursion. Just three days prior, Kourtney and Kim engaged in a heated phone call that shed light on their ongoing feud. The call was initiated by Kim, 42, who intended to discuss the Dolce & Gabbana contract. Kim proposed that Kourtney, 44, join her in Milan for a campaign event related to this contract. However, their conversation took an unexpected turn as they delved into their disagreements concerning the show's edits, exacerbating the tension surrounding the Dolce & Gabbana situation. Kourtney had previously accused Kim of exploiting her wedding as a "business opportunity."
During their phone conversation, Kourtney expressed her perspective, suggesting that Kim coveted something that belonged to her and turned it into her own. Kim vehemently denied these allegations, insisting it was merely about the Dolce & Gabbana clothing. Kourtney, however, contended that the issue ran much deeper than mere clothing.
