Overwhelmed, Kim, 42, tearfully confided in her mom, acknowledging that while she couldn't control Kanye's actions, they still "affect my kids." Kris, 67, agreed, acknowledging the tragic aspect of the situation. Through her tears, Kim shared in a confessional, "I still feel the need to not talk about it and protect it from my kids, and I always will feel that way. But God, if people knew... During their conversation, Kim admitted that Kanye might have to hit "rock bottom" to realize the impact of his actions. She reflected on how she used to try to fix things behind the scenes, running around and reassuring everyone that it would be okay. But she no longer had the energy for that role. Kris reminded her daughter, "Well, that's why you got divorced because you can't do that to yourself. You never deserve to live like that."

They also discussed the effect of Kanye's actions on their four children: North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4. Kris believed that North must be aware of the situation but chooses not to talk about it, which broke her heart. Kim, however, disagreed, saying that her oldest daughter was actually unaware of the drama. She explained the measures she took to shield her children from any news or mentions of their father, such as restricting their TV viewing to only Apple TV.

In a confessional, Kim expressed, "I'm the one being accused of so many things and being blamed for so many things, and it's really hurtful and it sucks. But I can control how I react, and I can control if I'm a mess. Then my kids will see that... I really do believe in my soul that one day, my kids will appreciate my silence, my understanding, and my grace, and I will try my hardest to keep it together at all times."
