Travis Barker is facing backlash after his son Landon Barker's 21st birthday party included a controversial gag referencing rapper Diddy’s recent legal troubles.

The party, held at Nobu Malibu on Friday, featured a questionable joke involving bottles of baby oil, sparking outrage among fans and social media users. During the event, servers carried out bottles of baby oil adorned with flashing lights, a reference to the baby oil found at Diddy's residence during his arrest on sex trafficking charges.
The situation became more uncomfortable when the DJ amplified the inappropriate theme, shouting, "We're getting really freaky tonight. We're getting Diddy freaky tonight." This statement was a reference to "Freak-Offs," the name Diddy reportedly used for his infamous drug-fueled sex parties, which are central to the federal case against him. While it remains unclear whether Travis Barker, the Blink-182 drummer, was directly involved in the tasteless jokes, fans were quick to criticize the tone of the celebration.
Many expressed their disgust, labeling the jokes "insensitive and gross" given the severity of the allegations against Diddy. The party’s inclusion of this gag struck a sour note for those who felt that it made light of serious charges related to sexual misconduct and human trafficking. Landon Barker, the birthday celebrant, appeared unbothered by the controversy, spending time with friends and posing in a fashionable outfit. He sported an all-white ensemble, including a denim jacket, white t-shirt, and white jeans, paired with black shoes and accessorized with a silver chain belt and a chunky necklace. His stylish appearance contrasted with the controversy surrounding the party’s theme.
Before the night of partying, Landon had a more low-key dinner with his father Travis Barker and stepmother Kourtney Kardashian at the celebrity-favorite sushi restaurant, Nobu. The Poosh founder kept it chic in an all-black outfit, while Travis opted for a black jacket over a white printed shirt. The drummer accessorized his look with a flashy silver necklace and a navy beanie. Earlier that day, Travis Barker had shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to his son on Instagram. Posting a slideshow of images documenting Landon’s life, the proud father gushed over his son in the caption.

"Happy Birthday @landonasherbarker. You blessed my world 21 years ago, and I am forever grateful," Travis wrote.
