In a recent episode of *The Kardashians*, Kim opened up about her parenting style and revealed some changes she wishes she could implement. During the episode, Kim compared her approach to parenting with that of her sisters, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian.

She expressed her feelings of regret and how, if given the chance, she would tackle parenting differently. As a mother of four, Kim has faced numerous challenges in raising her children. "Kourtney's loving being a mom. A mom times four is like the best," she said, admiring Kourtney’s parenting style. Kim admitted that there are times she wishes she could start her parenting journey from scratch. "Sometimes, I'm like damn, I wish I could do it all over. The one thing I would do is be so strict from the start,” she confessed. Her reflections weren’t about enforcing stricter diets or routines but rather about establishing firmer rules and boundaries early in her children's lives.

Khloé, who was present during this heartfelt discussion, initially thought Kim was referring to tighter dietary restrictions. However, Kim clarified that she was more focused on setting clearer rules and boundaries. Encouragingly, Khloé pointed out that Kim still had time to adapt her parenting style if she wished, which helped Kim feel more optimistic about the potential for change. In a candid moment on the show, Khloé reflected on their differing parenting styles. "My sisters and I, we all have different households, we raise our kids differently," she shared in a confessional. "I’m not judging; if everyone’s happy, healthy, and great, then wonderful. But my type of parenting is we do everything by a schedule."
Kim has also been open about the struggles she encounters as a mother. Earlier in the season, she discussed her difficulties in maintaining strictness. “I don’t know why I don’t have it in me to be super strict. Neither one of my parents was strict. Khloé is a lot better at being stricter. I wish I was more like that, but, you know, I’m just one person, and it’s overwhelming. Just how do I go about doing this all?” she expressed.

Beyond *The Kardashians*, Kim has shared her parenting challenges in various interviews. On the podcast *On Purpose With Jay Shetty*, she described parenthood as one of the most rewarding yet difficult experiences of her life. “Parenting is the thing that has taught me the most about myself. It has been the most challenging thing... There are nights I cry myself to sleep, like, ‘What just happened?’ with all the moods and the personalities,” she said.

Kim elaborated on how she navigates conflicts among her children, explaining that she sometimes has to embody both a nurturing and a strict parent. Despite the challenges, she emphasized the rewarding aspects of motherhood, sharing, “There are nights when you don’t wash your hair for days as a mom, and you have spit-up all over you, and you’re wearing the same pajamas. It is the most challenging but rewarding job on this planet.”
