Kris Jenner has revealed she underwent a hysterectomy after doctors discovered a tumor on her ovary, aiming to prevent any potential growth.

During last week's episode of "The Kardashians," the 68-year-old matriarch broke down in tears while sharing the news with her children. Doctors advised Kris that removing her ovaries and uterus was the best course of action after finding a 'little tumor' and a cyst in the area.

Speaking in the latest episode, Kris told friends Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick: "I'm gonna have a hysterectomy." "It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call - 'They found something, we're here to fix it.'  I'm going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life," referring to her six children.  Kris, who is the mother of Kourtney Kardashian, 45, Kim Kardashian, 43, Khloé Kardashian, 40, Rob Kardashian, 37, Kendall Jenner, 28, and Kylie Jenner, 26, admitted she felt 'very emotional' about the procedure.

Speaking to the camera, she later said: "I'm very emotional about it because when you're young, you start talking about wanting a family. It was all we talked about literally for 40, 50 years. So, here we are now talking about it again and it's the other side of the process." To cheer their mom up before her surgery, Kim and Khloe threw her a party.  In a confessional, Kim said: "My mom is pretty sad about having to lose her ovaries and I think we just need to make it into a positive moment and bring her something to cheer her up and just celebrate the amazing work those ovaries have done."

Kim walked into Kris' house with a cake, saying: "I brought us a little cake," and found Kris and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble. Kris read the cake's message - 'It's not ovary yet' - and burst into laughter just as Khloe walked in with flowers and balloons. "Cake and balloons and flowers?" Kris exclaimed. Khloe said, "We know that my mom is feeling a little anxious about her operation coming up. What we do best is we rally around each other in times of need, in happy times, when we're scared."

Holding her bouquet of flowers, Kris proclaimed: "I feel like I just gave birth all over again," to which Khloe added, "...to six f***ing phenomenal human beings." Kim chimed in: "Your ovaries have worked overtime," and Khloe added, "Like leave them alone." In a confessional, Kris added: "I loved being pregnant, loved loved loved being pregnant," as viewers saw throwback snaps of her with various baby bumps. "I do mourn not ever being able to be pregnant again. It was just this delicious time in my life where I felt like everything came to a halt. Life was beautiful. It was the best time of my life, the best years," Kris said.

Back at Kris' house, she cut the cake, adding: "To new beginnings, knowing I'll never be pregnant again." Khloe asked, "Where are the rest of your kids?" to which Corey replied, "Kourtney seems like she should've been first here." Kim added before taking a bite of cake: "I would just say, make note of the ones that show up, show up first," with a wink. Kim smiled and said: "That's what I would do in my will. Who showed up at my ovary party?"

In a teaser for next week's episode, Kris reassuringly told the cameras: "I'm done with my surgery, and I feel great!" Last week, Kris broke down while gathering Kim, Khloe, and Kendall to emotionally inform them about the tumor found on her ovary. She told them: "I wanted to tell you guys something because I hadn't told you yet but … you know I went to the doctor and I had my scan, they found - and this just makes me really emotional but - they found a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary.

"And so I went to the doctor and Dr. A said I've got to have my ovaries taken out. And I'm just really emotional about it because you know they came in handy with you guys. If I can get through the hip replacement, I can get through this. I don't even ... I'm not nervous to be put to sleep, I'm not nervous with Dr. A. She's the best doctor in the world, but then you go to do it and it's so real. "It's also a thing about getting older and it's like a sign of like we're done with you know part of your life, it's a whole chapter that's just closed. "It's the dumbest thing, but I love you guys and I just wanted you to know."
