Kim Kardashian revealed she severed one of her fingertips in a shocking injury she described as 'more painful than childbirth.'
The 43-year-old left fans baffled and concerned when she appeared in February and March with bandages on two of her fingers. At the time, she refrained from explaining how she injured herself, but now the answer is about to go public.

In a sneak peek for next week's episode of The Kardashians, via People, Kim showed off a grisly stump where the end of one of her fingers used to be. The jaw-dropping moment came when Kim visited a doctor to check on her recovery from the mysterious incident. She removed her splint and revealed her stump, prompting the doctor to remark, 'Oh, it looks great,' to which Kim incredulously replied, 'You think that looks great?'
Kim then underwent an X-ray examination and shared in a confession: 'The tip broke off. It was more painful than childbirth.' She has four children with her third and latest ex-husband Kanye West—North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5. Kim carried and gave birth to the elder two children herself, and then welcomed her younger two via surrogacy. Although the sneak peek did not reveal how she sustained her injury, the full story will likely be unveiled in next week's episode of the series. One day before Valentine's Day, Kim posted an Instagram glamour album in which two of her fingers were noticeably in splints.

As fans speculated about her injury, Kim posted an Instagram reel making light of her splints. She joked that her bandages were 'very stylish,' vamping that she had been 'loving this look lately' and had 'sacrificed my fingers for beauty.' By March 10, she hit the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and her previously wrapped fingers were bare. The new sneak peek for The Kardashians came as Kim featured in a sizzling new Instagram album, showing off her sculpted physique in Gucci.

The smoldering sensation completed the look with a black knee-length pencil skirt and matching leather boots. Going for an uncharacteristically naturalistic makeup look, Kim balanced expertly on her towering heels while pounding the pavement.
