However, the mother of four revealed that her trip was tinged with sadness over her teenage son Mason's absence. She also brought her newborn, Rocky, on the two-week trip, following her husband Travis Barker on part of his Blink-182 tour.

“I am in Australia, we made it. We’ve been having the best time. Travis is touring different cities in Australia for about a week, but because I was on bed rest before and then had a newborn at home, I haven’t really had any outings with my other kids. So, really, I wanted to stay in Sydney,” Kourtney said in a confessional. The show then cut to footage of Kourtney and the kids trying to play tennis, with Reign screaming when the ball came near him. Her oldest child, 14-year-old son Mason, didn't come. In a confessional, she shared that he was home with his dad, adding, "Which makes me really sad, but I’m making the most of every second." This episode followed one where Kourtney celebrated Penelope's 12th birthday.

Last week's episode briefly showed Kim trying to convince Mason to go on the trip by highlighting all the cool things Australia has to offer, but it didn't work. Reign is seen feeding a horse a carrot as Kourtney asks him and Penelope their "peak and pit of Australia so far." Reign said his favorite part was the ice cream, which Kourtney agreed was delicious. He added, "That sucks for a favorite. My favorite is supposed to be going on a roller coaster," but Kourtney assured him they would go on one the next day, which made Reign smile. Penelope said her favorite was going to the beach, and her pit was a shark attack that made her hesitant to go in the water. Reign dismissed her concern, saying, "Eh, who cares, one person is gonna get bit, I’ll take the risk."

Nanny Allie Garcia asked Kourtney about her peak and pit, to which she replied, "My peak, probably hanging out at Miranda’s. I felt like I learned so much from her mom on the traditions that I want to keep in my house now with the kids, like how the mom is always cooking and taking care of everyone." Allie added, "The son was so helpful," and Kourtney agreed, "And they all do the dishes together. My pit was the spider." They showed footage of a large spider on a white wall as Kourtney explained in a confessional, "The only reason I could never move to Australia is for the spiders." She told her kids and Allie, "I look for spiders everywhere," adding, "It’s just terrifying and not how I want to live my life."

Kourtney asked her kids, "Do we love Australia?" Penelope nodded yes, and Reign said, "Sure," with an exaggerated wink. Kourtney admitted, "I don’t know where he gets his sense of humor. He’s like a mini Jim Carrey." Back at the meal, Reign looked into the camera and started a story but then looked up at the ceiling and concluded, "That was the story," laughing as Penelope insisted, "It’s not that funny." Kourtney admitted in a confessional, "I’m starting to get a lot of vibes like his dad. I think he’s starting to get that sense of humor. I’m like, just what we need."

They left the restaurant as Penelope pointed out a paparazzo. Reign yelled, "Hi paparazzi, you stalker." Kourtney said, "I don’t see us standing out here long if that guy’s here," adding in a confessional, "The paparazzi are everywhere in Sydney. Everywhere." They noticed the photographer running away as they walked in the opposite direction. Kourtney added, "Which is why I’m not taking Rocky out. But as much as I would love to stay home and be in my bubble, it’s not fair to have my kids all the way in Australia and not take them out to do things." They all headed to a van as Kourtney told them, "We can’t let them ruin our whole time," and the van drove away.
