Penelope is the only daughter of the exes, who began dating in 2006 and split in 2018. The former reality TV power couple also share two sons: Mason and Reign.
Kourtney also has a newborn son, Rocky, with her husband Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink 182. The POOSH founder addressed Penelope's 12th birthday in an Instagram Story shared on Monday, posting a throwback photo of Penelope, affectionately nicknamed P, with the caption, "And like that she's 12."
Penelope's grandmother Kris Jenner was the first to post a sweet note on Instagram. "Happy birthday to my beautiful granddaughter, Penelope!" began the Keeping Up With The Kardashians producer. "Watching you grow into the smart, kind, funny, creative, amazing young lady you are today has been one of my greatest joys. I am so proud of you, P! You are such an amazing sister, daughter, granddaughter, friend, cousin, and niece.
You light up every room with your smile and fill our hearts with so much love. May your day be filled with joy, laughter, and all your favorite things. I love you to the moon and back!" She signed the note: "Lovey xo #HappyBirthdayPenelope." Kris' daughter Khloe Kardashian added in the comments box: "P is the most special soul ❤️." Malika Haqq, Khloe's friend and former star of Dash Dolls, wrote: "Happy birthday P."

This comes after Barker relished his role as a dad all over again—he already has two kids with ex Shanna Moakler (20-year-old son Travis and 18-year-old daughter Alabama) and a stepdaughter named Atiana, with whom he is very close. "The most wonderful thing you could do at any time in your life is have a baby or bring a human being into this world," Barker, 48, told People, sharing how he first got a "crash course" in parenting. "I love being a dad," the All The Small Things star confessed, adding, "That's my favorite accomplishment; it's my favorite thing I get to do every day."
Barker, who has now been married to Kardashian for over two years, recalled the time he first found out he was having his son Landon and how it inspired him. "The day I found out, I left my house and ran to the freeway," he said of his impromptu run. "It was four miles, and then I ran four miles back, too." He concluded that he was so overjoyed at the prospect of being a dad that he "had this urge to just be the best version of myself, be healthy, and take care of myself more—and I think that's never gone away."
That enthusiasm for being a dad again can be seen in some of the photos he and his wife share on their respective Instagram pages. Kardashian, who had to undergo emergency fetal surgery when Rocky was born, brought three of her own children to their blended family. It turns out their newborn boy had some fluid in his lungs that needed to be removed, resulting in some tense moments that all worked out in the end.

Previously, The Kardashians star had been in a long on-again, off-again relationship with Scott Disick that resulted in them having sons Mason, 13, Reign, 8, and daughter Penelope, 12. The reality star and entrepreneur began dating Barker in late 2020, confirming their relationship in January 2021. The couple had an unofficial wedding on April 3, 2022, in Las Vegas after the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. They made it legal with a wedding in front of family and friends on May 15, 2022, in Santa Barbara, followed by a religious ceremony in Portofino, Italy, on May 22. About 17 months later, the pair announced the birth of their son Rocky on November 4, 2023.
