"It came from my mom, went to me, and I passed it on in a different form to my son, who has vitiligo very mildly," Kim shared on the She MD podcast. Vitiligo is described by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases as a chronic autoimmune disorder where skin cells that produce pigment, melanocytes, are attacked and destroyed, resulting in milky-white patches.

Kim did not specify which of her sons has the disorder but assured that it is "under control." She mentioned how she had to learn about the condition and its hereditary nature, and she finds sharing this knowledge to be a blessing.  Kim, who herself suffers from psoriasis, also talked about her children experiencing mild eczema. She has struggled with psoriasis since around age 30 and is the only one of Kris Jenner's six children to have inherited it.

As recently as January, Kim detailed a painful psoriasis outbreak on her leg, sharing on Instagram, "Not gonna lie—this is painful.

On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim shared that she has implemented stricter rules for their four children, emphasizing her role as a mother as her most important job. Following a therapist's advice, she has reduced screen time and made several changes around her home, noting that she is turning into her sisters Kourtney and Khloe in her approach to parenting.
