Kim Kardashian has appeared in a new Balenciaga ad released on Thursday, where she resembles iconic Hollywood siren Marilyn Monroe.
The 43-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians veteran is featured in the brand's Characters campaign alongside Naomi Watts and Isabelle Huppert. In the ad, Kim sports short, platinum blonde hair and wears a ruby red dress with a black coat draped over her shoulders.

She completes the look with black socks, leopard print high heels, and a black purse, while sitting elegantly in a chair. The photo shoot was conducted by photographer Nadav Kander. According to a press release, each star in the campaign presents a "unique character" while showcasing the iconic Rodeo Bag. Kim’s connection with the French fashion house, founded by a Spanish designer, spans years. She starred in Balenciaga's fall 2022 campaign and has been frequently seen wearing the brand, thanks in part to her ex-husband Kanye West, who introduced her to Balenciaga Creative Director Demna Gvasalia.
Kim acknowledged Kanye’s influence on her fashion journey during her acceptance speech at the 2021 People's Choice Awards, expressing her gratitude for being introduced to the fashion world and the opportunity to wear amazing clothes and take risks. In July 2022, Kim walked the runway for Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week and has been spotted wearing their pieces regularly. Recently, she was seen in an Adidas x Balenciaga collaboration top, a long-sleeve black shirt with white stripes and brand names, despite both brands cutting ties with Kanye following his anti-Semitic rants.
