Kris Jenner recently shared a humorous story about leaving Kendall and Kylie Jenner behind at a Christmas tree lot when they were children.
During an episode of The Kardashians, the 68-year-old momager recounted the incident to her daughters, Kim Kardashian, 43, and Khloe Kardashian, 39. The conversation began when Kim, heading to her birthday party, remarked, "Don’t you hate when you leave the house and forget to say bye to your kids? I just forgot." Kris responded, "Yeah, I've done that before," surprising her daughters. Khloe added, "I’ve never done that," prompting Kris to reveal, "I've left my kids over at the Christmas tree lot and forgot to bring them with me."
In a confessional, Kris detailed the mix-up, explaining that she and her then-spouse, Caitlyn Jenner, had driven separately to the tree farm. Both assumed the other would take Kendall and Kylie, who were about 4 and 5 years old, back home. "We went to buy a Christmas tree. Kendall and Kylie were running around, and I thought their dad was watching them," Kris recalled. "He thought I was watching them because we met there. We both left in our own cars, and the kids never made it home." Despite the mix-up, the girls were fine, happily playing at the lot until their parents realized the mistake.
Kris has since maintained a close bond with all her children, including Kourtney, 45, Kim, Khloe, Rob, 37, Kendall, 28, and Kylie, 26. On Mother's Day, she honored her family, expressing gratitude for the journey of motherhood and her pride in her daughters who have become mothers themselves. She also praised her 13 grandchildren, cherishing the moments they share and the joy they bring. In 2019, Kylie, who shares daughter Stormi, 6, and son Aire, 2, with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott, reflected on how motherhood deepened her appreciation for Kris.
