Khloe Kardashian defends her six-year-old daughter, True Thompson, who wore a full face of makeup, including winged eyeliner and red lipstick, for a dance recital last week.

The reality TV star faced backlash for allowing her young daughter to wear such heavy makeup, with some critics calling it "sad." However, Khloe, 39, responded on Monday, stating, "People are cray cray. Obvi I would hope no one would do this normally to a 6-year-old."
The dance recital also featured Chicago West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and Dream Kardashian, daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna. Khloe shared a sweet post from the weekend, writing, "My girls had their dance recital yesterday! Year 3 done. I can’t believe they already have done three years of dance. Life is moving quickly." She added, "They did two dances this year - Ballet and hip hop. I am so, so proud of them! They were absolutely perfect."
The girls wore two costumes: pink tutus and red and white striped baseball-themed outfits with matching caps. Their faces were adorned with rosy blush and matching lipstick. Khloe addressed the criticism, noting, "Obviously, none of our girls wear makeup like this regularly. This was for the recital only. They are beautiful just as they are. Yesterday was super special." She concluded her message to her 308 million followers, saying, "Memories for a lifetime."

The girls' hair was styled in center parts and slicked-back buns. Khloe and Kim kept casual for the event, with Khloe in black leggings, a short-sleeved black shirt, and white socks and sneakers, while Kim also wore black. The girls received pink flower bouquets to celebrate their milestone. Khloe's best friend, Malika Haqq, commented, "Look at these angels."
The star's makeup artist, Ash Kholm, added, "Honored to be True’s MUA." Former Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry showed support, writing, "I love that the cousins get to do dance together." Kim shares Chicago with ex-husband Kanye West, while Rob Kardashian shares Dream with ex Angela White (née Blac Chyna). Kylie Jenner is the mom to Stormi, her daughter with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.
