Kanye West's $2.2 million Calabasas ranch lies in ruins, as recent photos show the property abandoned and severely neglected.

This stands in stark contrast to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian's $60 million compound, where she continues to reside with their four children since their 2021 split.

Kim's luxurious Calabasas estate is just eight miles away from Kanye's dilapidated ranch, which he purchased in 2018. Initially used for his Sunday Service gatherings and the Donda Academy headquarters, the property has since fallen into disrepair. The latest images reveal a large, gaping hole at the front entrance, with debris and pieces of the roof scattered on the ground.

Kanye reportedly lived at the ranch with model Irina Shayk, turning it into a bachelor pad. The property includes two guest houses with a total of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The 50-foot "Yecosystem" domes he built there, part of his Yeezy Home project, have also disappeared. These domes were inspired by the planet Tatooine from Star Wars and were intended to provide housing for the homeless.

Kanye bought the ranch while still married to Kim, and their divorce was finalized in November 2022. Kim negotiated a buyout to purchase their shared Hidden Hills home, which they acquired in 2014 for $20 million and spent another $20 million renovating under Kanye's direction with Belgian interior decorator Axel Vervoort.

In a November 2023 episode of her show, Kim revealed that Kanye now lives a simpler life in an apartment without the luxuries they once shared, a lifestyle their children admire. Kanye and his new wife, Bianca Censori, currently reside in a $20,000 per month luxury apartment in West Hollywood, close to Yeezy's headquarters. This is not the first property Kanye has abandoned. In September 2021, he bought a $60 million oceanfront property in Malibu and enlisted architect Tadao Ando for extensive remodeling.

However, construction was halted after Kanye's construction company dissolved amid financial troubles following his public antisemitic remarks, which also cost him $1.6 billion in net worth and his place on Forbes' billionaires list. In addition to the Calabasas ranch, Kanye owns other properties in Calabasas and a sprawling ranch in Wyoming, where he spent much of his time towards the end of his marriage to Kim.
