The 'circle of life' played out for Kanye West in a proud dad moment as he supported his daughter North West, 10, during her acting debut as Simba in the Lion King 30th anniversary concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday.

The Grammy Award winner, 46, was spotted in a white hoodie as he arrived to watch the live-to-film concert event, which featured performances by Jennifer Hudson, Billy Eichner, Nathan Lane, Jeremy Irons, and more.

North received a standing ovation for her performance of "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" from the 1994 Walt Disney animated movie. She donned a casual version of the usual Broadway costumes, wearing a yellow hoodie and matching shorts with a fuzzy hood and slippers.

Her 'grandmomager' Kris Jenner showed her support in an ankle-length animal print coat, while Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker also attended. Kim Kardashian supported from backstage, sharing photos from North's dressing room on her Instagram Story, including snaps of their all-access passes and character-inspired cupcakes. She also thanked Kris and grandmother Mary Jo 'MJ' Campbell for sending flowers.

North's acting debut follows the announcement of her first album, Elementary School Dropout, in March, a nod to her dad's 2004 debut, The College Dropout. The preteen featured on "Talking / Once Again" from Vultures 1, a collaborative album by Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign, making her one of the youngest artists to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at No. 30 in February.

North is no stranger to the stage, having performed live with Kanye during various album release events for Vultures 1, including in Miami in December and Paris in February. She and her siblings, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, also joined Kanye onstage at the Rolling Loud Festival in California this March. In an interview with i-D last October, North expressed her love for performing, saying it comes "mostly from me... and then a little bit of my dad."

When asked about her future aspirations, she shared, "I want to be a rapper, a basketball player, and I'm going to make artwork that I sell. Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner." Kim and Kanye, who were married from 2014 to 2022, share four children: North, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.
