Kim Kardashian was booed at Tom Brady's roast due to 'one drunk man' and not because of Taylor Swift fans, says Nikki Glaser.

The 39-year-old comedian revealed on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast that a random comedian was responsible for initiating the boos at Tom Brady’s roast earlier this month. Glaser insisted the boos were not connected to Kardashian's ongoing feud with Taylor Swift.

Instead, they were prompted by a comedian known for stirring trouble, who, after having too many drinks, started the booing as a joke, which then caught on with the crowd. "Apparently, he started the boo as a joke. He just had too many drinks or something, and he’s not affiliated with Swifties or anything. He just felt like saying a boo into the air, and apparently everyone was so riled up," Glaser explained.

Nikki, who also performed at the roast, added, "It just kinda caught wind, but it wasn’t Swiftie-meditated. I do have that on good information that it was not based on that. Because I was like, this doesn’t feel like a huge Swiftie crowd, but it didn’t feel like that was the vibe in the room." She speculated that the hecklers were likely 'sports fans wanting to have some sort of release to boo.'

"The guy started it as a joke, and it caught on too much, but I was so glad to learn it was not Swiftie-meditated," Glaser shared. Defending Kim and her family, Glaser said, "I don’t want to hear that anymore that they’re not talented. They clearly are! They’ve achieved something consistently for 20 years now. They’re talented! It just doesn’t look like the talent you define."

Last week, Glaser revealed that Kardashian had DM'd her following their appearance at the Brady event. Speaking on Jake Johnson and Gareth Reynolds' We’re Here To Help podcast, Glaser shared that Kardashian messaged her with praise, saying, "You killed it on the roast." Glaser responded, "Kim, oh my god. I was trying to make eye contact with you every chance I could to mouth to you, 'You f***ing killed, girl.'"

Glaser wasn't surprised by Kardashian's humor, noting her impressive performance on Saturday Night Live in 2021. After being persuaded to check for a reply, Glaser found that Kardashian had indeed responded with, "Aww thanks! And YOU killed it. I don’t know how you do this — it’s abuse lol."
