Kylie Jenner Accused of Copying Travis Scott's Hard Seltzer Concept Amid Split, Launching Rival Brands in Close Succession
Travis Scott has reportedly accused his ex-partner Kylie Jenner of imitating his hard seltzer idea, insiders reveal, as the former couple readies to debut rival beverage lines just days apart this month.
The 32-year-old rapper is set to launch Cacti 2.0 on March 15, mere days before Kylie, 26, plans to introduce her new brand, Sprinter, on March 21. The trademark application for Cacti hard seltzer was filed in June 2020, predating its launch in March 2021, during Travis and Kylie's relationship. However, production ceased following the Astroworld festival tragedy.

In contrast, Kylie's attorneys applied to trademark 'Kylie Jenner' for various products in June 2019, including spirits and alcoholic beverages. The application for Sprinter, however, wasn't filed until February 2023, after the couple's split.
A source close to Travis exclusively shared with DailyMail.com, "Kylie ripped his idea plain and simple. It wasn’t until they split that she got serious about this and she did it out of spite." Additionally, Kylie's trademark applications in 2019 encompassed a wide range of products, indicating a strategic move to pave the way for potential future ventures.
Despite their split in January 2023, just a month before the Sprinter trademark application, the contentious beverage battle between the ex-couple underscores the intensity of their competitive business endeavors.
While Travis is promoting Cacti with flavors like Black Cherry and Lime, Kylie's Sprinter boasts a variety pack featuring Peach and Grapefruit. Each brand offers distinct branding and flavor profiles, with Travis touting Cacti's tropical and citrus-infused options, while Kylie emphasizes Sprinter's bold packaging and taste.
