Shared on his Instagram Stories, the artwork showcased a mix of personal tributes, notably featuring the names of his biological and adopted children. However, conspicuously absent from the mural were the names of Kourtney's children with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick: Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick. The artwork, a fusion of affection and identity, depicted Travis and Kourtney's intertwined initials with a heart, alongside "Travis wuz here 2024" marking his presence in time.

While one side honored his children—Alabama, Landon, Rocky, and his adoptive daughter Atiana De La Hoya—the omission of Kourtney's children caught the attention of fans and sparked debate on social media. Critics argued that by excluding Kourtney's children while including a tribute to her, Travis's gesture could be seen as selective recognition. The discussion expanded to previous events, such as Travis's proposal to Kourtney, reportedly excluding her children.
This pattern raised questions about the integration of their blended family, with some suggesting Travis could have handled the situation more thoughtfully. Rocky Thirteen Barker, the couple's shared biological child, symbolizes the bond between Travis and Kourtney. Travis's family also includes Alabama and Landon from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler, and Atiana, Shanna's daughter whom Travis has adopted.
