This lighthearted scene took place just two days before West's controversial album listening event, where he faced criticism for donning a black hood reminiscent of the Ku Klux Klan during a performance with collaborator Ty Dolla Sign. The duo presented their controversial track "Vultures," which featured offensive lyrics about a Jewish woman. The lyrics, including the line "How am I anti-Semitic? I just f*ed a Jewish b**," sparked outrage among fans.

This isn't the first time Kanye West has worn a hood resembling a KKK hood, as evidenced in his 2013 music video for "BLKKK SKKKN HEAD." The American Jewish Committee and the Anti-Defamation League both expressed their disapproval, citing West's history of antisemitic remarks.
