Kourtney Kardashian's ex-partner and father of four played a significant role in Season 1 of the show but was noticeably absent from its somewhat lackluster second installment.
However, fans were in for a surprise when the sneak peek for Season 3 of The Kardashians on Hulu was released on Friday, with the premiere scheduled for May 25.

The trailer featured the usual cast members, including Kim, 42, Kourtney, 43, Khloe, 38, Kendall, 27, and Kylie Jenner, 26. Midway through the video, viewers were taken aback as Scott, 38, made an appearance. He was seen walking two small dogs, sporting a snapback and workwear jacket, while jokingly remarking, "Woah, woah, we've got a tangle on aisle three here," referring to the leashes. Accompanying him was a woman with dark hair, although her identity remained undisclosed. Speculation arose that it could be Kendall, who owns multiple dogs.
The trailer then shifted back to Kim, who expressed her concern in a confessional, exclaiming, "Oh my god, who's going to want to deal with the drama?"
Fans expressed their excitement at seeing Scott's return and the possibility of him playing a more prominent role once again. Commenting on the video, one fan wrote, "Yeeees!! Scott's back!!!" Another exclaimed, "The Lord is back!" while a third fan eagerly stated, "I'm excited to see the Lord." Many viewers admitted to missing his presence on the show. However, not all fans were thrilled, with one criticizing the show's renewal, claiming, "They should have never renewed the show. All they do is eat salads and be on their phones."
During Season 1, Hulu subscribers witnessed Scott receiving a so-called villain edit. Week after week, he supplied the show with drama by expressing his feelings of exclusion from his former family. In one episode, he lashed out at Kris Jenner, 66, saying, "You don't invite me to half the s**t you do anymore."

His anger also affected Kendall when he was furious about not being invited to her birthday party, resulting in a heated confrontation captured in the final scene of episode five. Kendall defended herself, stating, "Kourtney, at the end of the day, is my sister. This dinner was literally 15 people..." Khloe, hearing about the incident from her sister, expressed her outrage, stating, "And that's really fked up to prey on you. That's actually really fking rude." She further confronted Scott, saying, "I'm sure it hurts you. I'm sure it really fking sucks to realize what you did to your life. Because once you have to swallow that pill, it's a hard fking pill to swallow."
