Kourtney Kardashian, the renowned star of the Kardashian family, has bid farewell to her platinum locks and embraced her natural hair color once again, proving that maybe brunettes do have more fun.

On May 21, she took to Instagram to unveil her jet-black transformation, playfully captioning her post with "brunette4lyfe." Kourtney shared a carousel of photos that beautifully showcased her new look. In one captivating image, she styled her long bob by slicking it down and tucking the sides behind her ears, while parting it in the middle.
To complement her edgy hairstyle, she opted for a striking black smoky eye and rocked white overalls layered over a black-and-white Blink-182 band tee, which was a sweet nod to her husband, Travis Barker, aged 47. Another snapshot featured Kourtney with a deep side part, wearing a lingerie slip dress adorned with a ladybug print and delicate lace trim. This transformation comes just two months after Kourtney had bleached her hair blonde. In March, while enjoying a trip to Las Vegas with Travis, she debuted her lighter tresses during a date night at the UFC 285 event.

However, Kourtney has previously explained her inclination to switch hair colors and not stick with blonde for too long. In a 2019 post on her now-defunct app, she shared her reasoning, stating, "I kept this hair color for only a month before dying my hair light brown with highlights. When I was getting my highlights touched up, all of them fried off and I had spikes of hair that stuck up, so I dyed my hair black and cut it short."
While the common trend during summertime is to go lighter with hair colors, Kourtney proves that rules can be bent. She confidently embraces her natural brunette roots, declaring her loyalty to the brunette look with her Instagram post as she proudly becomes a "brunette4lyfe."
