In a recent episode of their reality series, Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian took the opportunity to address some criticism regarding their onscreen storylines.

During the episode, which aired on June 1, Kim read a review about the show's second season that offered a critique of the episodes. Kim, who is pursuing a career in law, expressed her interest in staying updated on what people are saying about the show. She mentioned that the review mentioned Khloé's situation with Tristan Thompson and claimed that she didn't share enough. Kim defended her sister, stating that everything was filmed and that Khloé did share everything.

Khloé, on her part, explained why she initially chose to remain quiet about her second child until his arrival via surrogate in July 2022. The season 2 premiere focused on the birth of Tatum, followed by flashback episodes that depicted events leading up to the delivery. Khloé shared that she was vulnerable during her surrogacy journey and allowed people to see her struggles. She also acknowledged that she initially didn't admit to herself what was happening, but she made it clear on the show.

Khloé expressed that she has no guilt because she is open about her life and shares it in a vulnerable and authentic way. She emphasized that regardless of the show or season, she remains true to herself. Kim then addressed why her ex-husband Kanye West did not appear in season 2. She explained that it wasn't because she was unwilling to have him on the show, but rather because he didn't want to be a part of a reality series. Kim clarified that she would talk about Kanye and their co-parenting struggles from her perspective, but it was impossible to film someone who wasn't a cast member or had aspirations of being on a reality show.

Kim, who dated Pete Davidson during her divorce from Kanye, mentioned that it was challenging to navigate dating while living life on a reality show. She revealed that she and Pete had conversations about the implications of dating in that context and were aware of what they were getting into. Kim made an effort to include Pete on the show and openly discussed their relationship.

When Scott Disick asked whether they ever considered ending the show, Kim expressed their love for it. She saw the show as an opportunity to help people going through similar experiences and believed that she and Khloé provided authentic content. Kim affirmed that their show was instrumental in their success and stated her continued dedication to filming and giving it their all.

The Kardashian-Jenner family gained fame through their appearances on E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which aired from 2007 to 2021. Following the show's final season, Kim, Khloé, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner signed a significant multiyear deal with Hulu to create new content for the streaming service.

Hulu recently confirmed that The Kardashians would be renewed for 20 more episodes. New episodes of the show are released on Hulu every Thursday, providing fans with regular updates on the lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
