Kylie Cosmetics has warned their customers announcing a security breach at the company which manages Shopify which is its e-commerce platform.

Kylie Jenner's empire, Kylie Cosmetics has announced its customer about the customer's security breach. The company's e-commerce platform, Shopify revealed that the customers' data was likely exposed by the company's own employees who tried to steal the transaction records. To aware of the customers, Kylie Cosmetics sent an email that informed them about the security breach. "Shopify informed us that this incident affected names, addresses, emails, product orders, and the last four digits of the credit card of our impacted customers," as per the information gained by TMZ.

"We wanted to let you know that the company that manages our e-commerce platform - Shopify - recently informed us that they experienced a security incident," the email began. "Shopify has shared that Kylie Cosmetics is not the only company that was impacted by this incident, so you may be receiving notifications from other companies that you've shopped with online," continued the email.

Shopify announced that the data of some customers were likely exposed to one of their merchants after two of the employees tried stealing the transaction record. Since then the company has terminated network access to the employees who were the part of the support team. Now, even the FBI and other international agencies are engaged to investigate.

The cosmetic mogul, Kylie first started her empire with her super popular lip kit range, which she eventually expanded by including a wide range of makeup products. Fans have been impressed by the products and the interesting thing is that it includes a wide range of products named after her family member.

Ky first debut with her family series, KUWTK, but the series is now coming to end in 2021 and a source told The Sun that "Kylie is making billions of dollars through her make-up line and product endorsements. She doesn't need the show, and like Kendall, has always struggled with fame and being in the spotlight. Filming the show meant having to be in LA with her family - now is free to fly off on holiday, or follow Travis Scott on his next tour."
