Kendall Jenner was recently spotted cruising the streets of Los Angeles in a vintage 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62, making a statement by breaking away from the flashy car choices typically associated with her famous family.

While her half-sister Kim Kardashian is often seen driving extravagant vehicles like the $96,390 Tesla Cybertruck and the $354,750 Rolls-Royce Ghost, Kendall opted for a more low-key yet stylish ride. The 28-year-old supermodel looked perfectly at ease in the restored SUV, blending vintage charm with modern functionality.

The Land Cruiser was meticulously restored by Brian Corsetti, owner of Corsetti Cruisers, a California-based company that specializes in revamping vintage Toyota Land Cruisers. Corsetti confirmed to *DailyMail.com* that his company built the car specifically for Jenner, adding that she is much more knowledgeable about cars than many might think. “She’s not just a collector. She’s a true gearhead with style,” Corsetti remarked. He explained that every detail of the SUV was updated to provide better power, handling, gas mileage, and technology, ensuring it was suitable as a modern-day vehicle while retaining its classic appeal.

According to Corsetti, the goal was to deliver "the coolest driving experience" for Jenner, who loves cars with character. The Land Cruiser comes equipped with a powerful 500-horsepower LS3 conversion engine and a 6L80 automatic transmission. The interior features custom Relicate leather upholstery, while the exterior received a full restoration, including a windows-out paint job. The SUV also boasts high-tech updates like keyless entry, reverse cameras, automatic windows and locks, and a 6-speaker sound system complete with a 10-inch subwoofer.

This blend of old and new makes it a unique and functional vehicle for Kendall, whose personal style and love of cars shine through. Jenner’s appreciation for cars is not just a passing hobby. In an interview with *CNN Style*, she once described her passion for vintage cars as her "weird addiction." She explained that for her, buying cars is like collecting art. "If I love it, I love it. If I walk in and it really gets to me, I’m like okay, I need that car," she said.

Jenner revealed that her love for cars stems from her father, Caitlyn Jenner, who raised her to embrace a tomboy lifestyle, filled with dirt bikes and four-wheelers. Her deep interest in automobiles has translated into an impressive collection of classic and luxury cars, estimated to be worth around $2.3 million. Among her prized possessions are a ’56 Corvette, a Mustang, and a rare Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet, which averages around $280,000. She also owns a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado, worth an estimated $220,000, and a Lamborghini Urus, retailing for around $260,000.

Her first car, a 2012 Range Rover, was a gift from her parents on her 16th birthday, although she famously failed her driving test twice before finally earning her license.  Despite the rocky start, Kendall has become an expert driver over the years and can even drive a stick shift, a skill not common among many car enthusiasts today. Kendall's decision to cruise around in a vintage Land Cruiser reflects not only her unique taste but also her love for blending style with substance. It’s a refreshing departure from the usual Kardashian glam, proving that she’s a true car enthusiast at heart.
