Khloe Kardashian recently celebrated her daughter True's first day of first grade with a heartwarming tribute.
The proud mom, 40, shared photos of six-year-old True dressed in her school uniform—a white blouse paired with a blue plaid skirt. True stood in front of an elaborately decorated backdrop that Khloe had set up, featuring pastel-colored balloons and oversized crayons, perfectly capturing the excitement of the milestone.
In her touching Instagram post, Khloe expressed her pride and joy: "First Grade!!! True, I am so proud of you!! I know you’re going to have the most incredible year ahead of you! I couldn’t be happier for you, my angel." She also added a humorous note about her emotions, admitting, "I’m not ok but I’ll pull it together by pick-up time." True's father, Tristan Thompson, 33, also took to social media to share his excitement.
He posted photos of True standing in front of the same celebratory setup, including one where she held a grey cat and another where she posed with her two-year-old brother, Tatum. Tristan captioned his post with, "Twinny first day of 1st grade. Time flies, my wow! I know Gigi’s looking down on you and she is sooo proud of you and how amazing you are and how you’re the best big sister. I love you, Tutu." The day was clearly an emotional one for both parents, who each took the time to commemorate this important step in their daughter’s life. True was also seen posing with both Khloe and Tristan, capturing sweet moments with each of them as they celebrated together.
Earlier in the summer, True had a ballet recital, and Khloe went all out to glam up her little girl for the occasion. However, this sparked some criticism from online trolls who took issue with True’s makeup. Khloe responded to the backlash, stating, "People are cray cray," and explained that the makeup was just for the recital. She added, "Obvi I would hope no one would do this normally to a 6-year-old," emphasizing that her daughter and the other children are beautiful just as they are. In the original post about the recital, Khloe clarified, "Obviously none of our girls wear makeup like this regularly. This was for the recital only. They are beautiful just as they are."
In addition to her tribute to True, Khloe also recently shared a sweet message on Instagram to celebrate the 18th birthday of Tristan Thompson’s brother, Amari. Alongside a collection of photos of herself with Amari over the years, Khloe wrote a heartfelt caption: "Happy 18th Birthday, sweet angel Amari!! I can't believe you are 18! You have changed our lives in the best possible ways! Thank you for being an angel to us all!" She concluded with, "You are the sweetest, silliest, and most loving young man. I hope you feel how much we love and adore you, our sweet angel Amari," followed by a blue heart emoji. Khloe's posts reflect the deep love and pride she feels for her family, capturing the special moments that mark their lives together.
