The tension between Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian escalates in this week's episode of The Kardashians.

Kim, 43, has been expressing frustration all season about Khloe, 39, never leaving her Hidden Hills house since her final split with Tristan Thompson. Khloe, who recently defended her daughter True, 6, wearing makeup, insists she's happy staying at home.

Before a family trip to Aspen, Kim confronts Khloe about her homebody ways, even comparing her to Brendan Fraser's character in The Whale. Fraser won an Oscar for portraying Charlie, a morbidly obese English teacher ashamed of his appearance. Kim says in a confessional, "Khloe has really been pissing me off lately, so we're going to Aspen and I just want to get some things off my chest and clear the air with her before we go."

In her bedroom, Kim tells Khloe, "I have a bone to pick with you," to which Khloe responds, "What now?" Kim explains, "Just about your delivery on things. The other day when you called me about Chi's hair, you were very shaming, like, 'Can I do Chi's hair? Do you mind?' And you mentioned all the product in it." In a confessional, Kim reveals she had a hard week and asked her mom to watch her kids. Chicago had put gel in her hair, and Khloe FaceTimed to comment on it. Kim says, "You were calling to not really ask if you could do her hair but to let me know that her hair wasn't washed."

Khloe retorts, "No, I actually wanted to know. If you don't care if I do it, next time I will not ask and just do the hair. But if I do it, you'll ask why I touched it." Kim responds, "That was an extremely hard week and you said, 'Do you mind if I do her hair because it's nasty.'" Khloe is confused, stating in her confessional, "I thought we were good. I had no idea she was holding on to this." Khloe tells Kim, "It sounds like you're dealing with your own issues and projecting them onto me."

Kim just smirks as Khloe adds, "I wasn't trying to shame you. Why would I shame you?" "For not washing her hair the night before," Kim says. Khloe responds, "That's your own insecurity. I never said that." Kim explains, "It's the tone," and in her confessional, adds, "Maybe you wouldn't have a stick up your ass over hair gel if you interacted with people outside of your family." Back in her bedroom, Kim urges Khloe to "live your life," to which Khloe whispers, "Wow."

Kim continues, "You have the world at your fingertips but you won't go see it. You need to live your life." Khloe insists, "I went out!" but Kim points out how Khloe quickly returns home. Kim then compares Khloe to Brendan Fraser's character in The Whale, saying, "It's like The Whale. The guy won't leave his house." Khloe, surprised, responds, "I'm Brendan Fraser?" Kim clarifies, "I'm just saying, you need to get away from your kids sometimes."

Khloe, feeling mom-shamed, says in her confessional, "Kim is shaming me for being a helicopter mom, while claiming I'm shaming her for not being strict." Kim criticizes Khloe for her rigid schedule, while Khloe explains in her confessional that she simply has a schedule for her kids. Khloe tells Kim, "I don't even want to go on this trip with you because all you're gonna do is pick on me," as she lightly pushes Kim down on the bed. Kim, frustrated, says, "Grow up. It's ridiculous."

The episode starts with Khloe and Kim trying to call Kourtney, who is busy with her newborn. Khloe jokes, "Welcome to my daily life," when Kourtney says she doesn't want to go anywhere. The episode shows Kourtney enjoying her time at home with her new baby and debating whether to attend the Christmas Eve party. Khloe, feeling criticized for her parenting style, struggles with Kim's comments. The preview for next week's episode teases more skiing in Aspen and continued bickering between Kim and Khloe. The episode ends with Kris revealing a health scare to her kids.
