In a surprising turn of events, Cameron Brink and the LA Sparks welcomed a special guest into their locker room: none other than American reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

Accompanied by her basketball enthusiast daughter, North West, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star made quite an impression. During a recent appearance on NBA star Paul George’s podcast, "P with Paul George," Brink recounted her encounter with Kardashian and her daughter.

"North is a sweetheart. I gave her a pair of shoes, actually a pair of Steph's shoes. People don't know that she is a huge Steph fan," Brink shared. The gesture was fitting, considering Steph Curry's significant impact on the younger generation. Brink also gifted North her own LA Sparks jersey, although it was clearly oversized due to Brink's towering height.

Brink and other WNBA stars find themselves at a turning point in the league's history. With increasing popularity both on and off the court, from celebrity sightings at games to star treatment at events like the Met Gala, the WNBA seems to be gaining momentum.

However, the Sparks and Brink are off to a slow start this season, yet to secure a win. Their recent loss against the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces, adds to the challenges they face. Despite this, Brink is making her mark, averaging 7.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game in her rookie season.

In a lighter moment, Brink shared an amusing anecdote about NBA star Kawhi Leonard, known for his reserved demeanor. During a shoot for New Balance, Brink managed to crack Leonard up, surprising those around them. This unexpected moment added to Brink's growing reputation, further solidifying her unique place in the sports world.
