Khloé Kardashian revealed she couldn't "face going home" following Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal.

Just days before she was due to give birth, tabloids released videos of Thompson with other women. In less than a year, Thompson was also accused of kissing Jordyn Woods at a house party. Khloé Kardashian shared that she "couldn't really face going home" to Los Angeles after reports surfaced that Tristan Thompson had cheated on her just days before she gave birth to their daughter, True, in Cleveland, Ohio.

On April 10, 2018, TMZ released surveillance footage showing Thompson kissing two women in Washington, DC, from the previous October. Around the same time, The Daily Mail and TMZ published recent intimate photos and videos of Thompson with a woman in New York from that April weekend. Kardashian was heavily pregnant with True when these reports emerged, and she gave birth on April 12.

Kardashian discussed the tumultuous week leading up to True's birth during part two of her family's reunion chat with TV host Andy Cohen, which aired on Sunday night. This conversation revisited key moments from "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," the long-running E! reality show that concluded on June 10 after 14 years and 20 seasons.

"The circumstances – it's so hard to explain," Kardashian said about discovering Thompson's infidelity. "I'm now in Cleveland, stuck here. I'm in this media storm." Thompson played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2011 to 2020. California native Kardashian had temporarily moved to Ohio to be closer to Thompson.
"I couldn't really face going home either. I felt so overwhelmed," Kardashian told Cohen, adding that she feared being followed by paparazzi and questioned about her relationship with Thompson if she returned to Los Angeles. "I needed to just be alone with my daughter. And it was the best thing I did, was having three months alone with True," she added.

Kardashian also explained that she allowed Thompson to be present during True's birth despite the recent infidelity reports because she wanted their daughter "to have these moments" with her father. Though they tried to move past Thompson's infidelity and continued their relationship after True's birth, Thompson was seen kissing Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods, at a house party in February 2019.

Kardashian blamed Woods for the subsequent breakup with Thompson, publicly stating that Woods was "the reason my family broke up." Woods, however, claimed during a "Red Table Talk" appearance in March 2019 that she only shared a brief kiss with Thompson while leaving the party. Despite their troubled history, Kardashian suggested during her conversation with Cohen that she and Thompson had reconciled, although she clarified that they were not together during the filming of the final season of "KUWTK."
