Kim and Khloe Kardashian had an enthusiastic reaction when 14-year-old Mason Disick officially joined Instagram on Saturday.

"You're really on Instagram," Kim, 43, commented on Mason's first post. "I can't believe this is happening," wrote Khloe, 39, adding, "I am sort of not ok," with crying emojis. "He's a real teenager. The one who names us KiKi and KoKo."
Proud aunt Khloe also shared Mason's post on her Instagram Story, featuring a photo of him on the porch of a scenic country house. With just three posts, Mason, the eldest son of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, already amassed over 30,000 followers by Saturday.

Mason posted several photos of himself with friends and his siblings, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9. This isn't Mason's first Instagram account—Kourtney, 45, and Scott, 40, had him delete a previous one in 2020 when he joined without their permission. Mason's TikTok account was also disabled for violating terms of service, as users must be 13 or older, and he was 10 at the time.
Kourtney discussed this decision while talking about parenting and social media with Miranda Kerr for Vogue Paris in May 2021. "Mason started some secret accounts during quarantine," she said. "Those were quickly shut down." The POOSH founder emphasized that "what kids share today, it's there forever," noting that quarantine was a challenging but valuable lesson for kids. "I loved being home and bonding with them, but their social interaction was hard," she added.

When his cousin North West, 10, got in trouble for going on TikTok Live without permission in December 2021, Kim shared the mature advice Mason texted her "just in case for safety. "Hi, I don't wanna disrespect North, but I don't think she should do the Lives unless someone is with her because people are always screen recording and she might tell information that isn't correct," Mason wrote. He added that North might "regret" sharing personal information after he experienced the same regret.
Kourtney welcomed Mason, Kris Jenner's first grandchild, in 2009 on the season four finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. After Kim posted a photo of Mason and his cousins in December, followers remarked on how much he's grown, comparing him to his uncle Rob Kardashian.
