Allegations have surfaced against Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila team, accusing them of damaging a cherished AC/DC mural at a local bar in Indio, California, while promoting the brand during the first week of the Coachella music festival.

Jenner, alongside her team, hosted a pop-up event at Club 5 Bar, featuring a prominent 818 decal-like sign. However, Randy Franco, one of the bar's owners, contends that the mural beneath the sign was left scuffed and chipped. Sources close to Kendall claim that Randy and his mother, Carmen Franco, were aware of the potential damage to the mural and had signed a contract acknowledging this.
Although the 818 decal appears to be painted on the wall, it is actually a separate piece attached to it. Randy released a press statement accusing Kendall's team of failing to use a protective layer underneath the sign, leading to cracks and chips upon removal. Despite expressing frustration, Randy's next steps remain unclear.
On the other hand, an email reviewed by TMZ suggests that Carmen Franco approved the mural's condition following the event. Jenner, who launched 818 Tequila in February 2021, has been actively promoting the brand, even during Coachella, where she was seen attending the festival's first weekend.
During an interview with Harper's Bazaar Australia, Jenner revealed her inspiration behind starting 818 Tequila, aiming to create a brand that resonates with younger audiences while setting a new standard for female-owned liquor companies.
