Kim Kardashian, the renowned reality TV mogul, is about to venture into a new territory in the world of entertainment.

Having dabbled in a few cameo appearances, hosted Saturday Night Live, and built her empire through reality television, Kim is now set to star in the twelfth installment of the acclaimed horror anthology series, American Horror Story. This latest season, titled "Delicate," promises to be a spine-chilling addition to Ryan Murphy's Emmy-winning series, boasting an ensemble cast that includes Matt Czuchry, Emma Roberts, Cara Delevigne, and Emmy nominee Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. The storyline draws inspiration from Danielle Valentine's upcoming novel, "Delicate Condition."

In the gripping teaser released on July 20, Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts, and Cara Delevigne make an appearance, gazing over fashionable sunglasses. Their captivating beauty shots are intertwined with glimpses of dancers evoking a coven atmosphere, a visually stunning blue-white-red color palette, and a rocking cradle. The teaser culminates in an unsettling frame, with Kim Kardashian gazing directly into the camera as she cradles a baby in her arms. Accompanied by a haunting rendition of "Rock-A-Bye Baby," the teaser hints at a strong influence from the classic horror film "Rosemary's Baby" for this upcoming season of American Horror Story.

According to a statement by show creator Ryan Murphy to The Hollywood Reporter in April, "Delicate" promises to be an ambitious and groundbreaking season, unlike anything the series has attempted before. He teased Kim Kardashian's role as "fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying," raising anticipation for her portrayal. Kim Kardashian follows in the footsteps of another media personality turned successful actress who starred in American Horror Story. In 2015, Lady Gaga made her leading role debut on television, impressing audiences with her portrayal of Elizabeth "The Countess" Johnson in "American Horror Story: Hotel." The role earned her a Golden Globe award and paved the way for her successful transition into the film industry, ultimately earning her an Academy Award nomination for her performance in "A Star Is Born" in 2018.
