Khloe Kardashian's bond with her niece, Dream Kardashian, goes beyond just being an aunt.

On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Khloe showcased her dedication by organizing and hosting Dream's sixth birthday party at her own home. Although Khloe didn't explicitly mention Dream's mother, Blac Chyna (whose real name is Angela White), it was evident that Khloe holds negative feelings towards her.

During the episode, Khloe made it clear that she doesn't have a relationship with Dream's mom due to their legal disputes. Referring to the defamation lawsuit filed by Chyna in 2022, in which she sued the Kardashian-Jenner family after her show, Rob & Chyna, was canceled following her split from Rob, Khloe stated, "It's hard to have a relationship with someone when they sue you for hundreds of millions of dollars." Chyna ultimately lost the case in May 2022. Despite the strained relationship, Khloe took it upon herself to create a memorable butterfly-themed birthday celebration for Dream. She expressed that she feels like a "third parent" to Dream and emphasized the importance of providing a strong maternal influence in her life. Khloe acknowledged that Dream deserves nurturing from her own mother, herself, or anyone else who can provide it.

Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's ex-partner, also acknowledged Khloe's significant role in Dream's life, describing her as "somewhat of a co-parent to Dream." Khloe humorously responded by saying she's "probably more than an aunt, just a third parent. The third wheel." She further expressed her love and care for Dream by stating, "Dream is one of my babies too, just like all the rest of them," referring to her numerous nieces and nephews in the Kardashian-Jenner family. On the special occasion, Dream received extravagant gifts from her proud grandmother, Kris Jenner. Kris surprised her with diamond butterfly earrings and a new phone, embracing her role as a doting grandmother who loves to spoil her grandkids.
