The entertainer had a hot-and-weighty mystery sentiment with Drake a year prior to she began dating his onetime archnemesis Kanye West, Page Six has only learned.
Sources say, Fox, 31, has told West, 44, about her "Hotline Fling" with his opponent Drake - who gave her gifts including two Birkin sacks - and that Ye isn't excited with regards to it.
We're told the "Marvin's Room" rapper, 35, first contacted Fox by means of an Instagram DM to commend her on her job in the 2019 Adam Sandler dramatization, "Uncut Gems."
Yet, after Fox's relationship with her long-term accomplice, Peter Artemiev, disintegrated soon thereafter, insiders say she got back in contact with Drake on the online media application.
Insiders say they got together in New York not long after in February 2020, and the Toronto-conceived entertainer took Fox and a buddy to the Bowery Hotel for drinks.
We're told Drake then, at that point, made an appearance to Bloomingdale's - where Fox was doing a limited time gig - the following day to visit her at work. "They shut down the store so he could visit," said a source. The stricken pair proceeded with their hurricane sentiment when Fox traveled to Los Angeles a couple of days after Valentine's Day, where Drake gave her two of the popular Birkin packs, which cost from $20,000 up to $500,000.
"Then, at that point, she went to [his hometown] Toronto to remain with him," said the insider. We're told Fox remained at Drake's tremendous 50,000-square-foot manor, however her excursion was stopped by the flare-up of the COVID-19 pandemic. "They were shutting the line [between Canada and the US], and she needed to get back home," said a source.
Fox later revived her relationship with pilot Artemiev, with whom she has a 1-year-old child, drawing a cover over her rapper sentiment. Obviously, Fox - who has since parted with her child daddy by and by - broadly began dating West after they met in Miami this New Year's Eve.
It's his first open relationship since Kim Kardashian petitioned for a separation to end their eight-year marriage. He and Fox were this week found in Paris in matching outfits for the high fashion shows.
While West was once a symbol of Drake's, the pair have had an undeniably tense relationship beginning around 2011, when the Canadian star said openly that he trusted himself to be a contender for West's spot at the highest point of rap's pecking order.
He told music outlet the Source at that point, "I want to outperform all that he's refined."
The quarrel turned out to be more warmed when rapper Pusha T delivered a track on a collection created by West that uncovered Drake has a child and claimed he was a "bum" father.
Drake has since recognized the presence of the kid, whose name is Adonis, yet rejects that he's a "bum." Drake later guaranteed it was West who told Pusha that Drake had a child, which West has denied.
They battled for hip-bounce matchless quality toward the finish of 2021 when West delivered "Donda," which debuted with 313,000 collection deals. Then, at that point, after seven days, Drake's "Affirmed Lover Boy" turned into the top-appearing collection of the year with 595,300 collection units.
In any case, the once-fighting pair appeared to have let bygones be bygones all the more as of late and performed together at the "Free Larry Hoover" benefit show on Dec. 9 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Reps for Drake and Fox declined to remark.
