Tristan Thompson ‘will continue to fight’ for Khloe Kardashian despite his new deal with the Boston Celtics which will separate them a thousand miles.

The NBA star, Tristan Thompson, 29, isn't going to let anything come in between his relationship with Khloe Kardashian, 36, even the big move in his career. Tritan is now playing for Boston Celtics and for that he'll be moving to Boston while leaving Koko and his daughter, True Thompson, 2, in California. “Tristan is not going to let his zip code determine his relationship with Khloe,” a source close to Tristan told HollywoodLife exclusively.

“He’s adamant that he will continue to fight for her and he will continue to spend all the time he possibly can with her and True,” our source explained. “He’s excited about the idea of playing again, but that doesn’t mean it will be easy to be away from Khloe and True. Having all this time together has been such a blessing, he will definitely miss them. But he’s vowed not to let the distance change anything.”

Tristan wasn't on the court since the coronavirus pandemic suspended the NBA 2019-2020 season in March. This gave Tristan enough time to bond with his daughter and make things good with Khloe again. “Tristan wants to be near Khloe and wants to be near True, he really wants to make it work,” another source told HollywoodLife exclusively.

Despite the fact he's going to Boston, he optimistic about it.“He also knows that he was able to make it work in Cleveland. Now choosing Boston to play for the next few years, he is looking to win another championship, he is also looking to get paid well and since this is his job that won’t last forever, he needs to do what he needs to do to secure his future which will, in turn, secure a future for True and hopefully Khloe,” a second source continued.

As for Khloe and Tristan's present relationship status, a source told us that “he would love nothing more than to have Khloe in his life forever both romantically and as a co-parent.” But Tristan is ready for anything. “If a relationship doesn’t end up being the situation,” then “he must be able to support his dreams as well,” the source explained, adding, “Choosing Boston was a business decision but also a decision for the quality of life that Tristan wants in his future with or without Khloe by his side. He ultimately had to do what was best for him.”
