Tristan Thompson has agreed to join the Boston Celtics and the news was confirmed by his agent Rich Paul to Yahoo Sports on Saturday, November 21.

The NBA star, Tristan Thompson, 29, is on the move! Tristan who played with the Cleveland Cavaliers for nine seasons now will be playing for the Boston Celtics for two years as he has agreed with the $19 million deal with the Celtics. This news about his move to the East Coast comes just after he reunited with his ex-girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian, 36. As this news resurfaced Khloe's fans reacted to the news.

Fans of Celtics reacted to the news on Twitter, with one Beantown native saying that she was “looking forward to seeing @KhloeKardashian around my city.” “Welcome to the Celtics,” wrote another fan to the Good American co-founder. “Does this mean we get TRUE THOMPSON IN BOSTON?!” an excited fan wrote. “So excited to have Tristan play for the Celtics!” another follower said. “Hope to see you at the games Welcome!!!” “@khloekardashian are you looking for a Massachusetts bestie Bc I’m interested,” a fan asked.

Some of Khloe's fans were wondering to see her on the courtside cheering Tristan, but no spectators are allowed at NBA games because of the coronavirus pandemic. Tristan and Khloe have just rekindled in August after their split in February 2019 after Tristan's cheating scandal with Kylie Jenner‘s former best friend Jordyn Woods.

A source told Us Weekly last month that the pair “are doing really good” but Khloe “is taking it day by day.” The source further added that Tristan “has been really good to her recently,” but “Khloé has been warned by everyone that if he even looks at another girl, that’s the last straw.” 

Tristan has cheated on Khloe multiple times previously even when she was pregnant with their daughter True Thompson, 2, but “Khloe wants to see the good in everyone to a fault,” as the source said. Tristan stepped up his game and tried very hard to impress Khloe and she was impressed in fact and she admitted that she “really” appreciated “how attentive and responsible” he was. While a second source added that the duo was “acting like a married couple” and “Khloé is hopeful about their future.”
