Sofia Richie split with Scott Disick as their relationship was too serious for her age and she didn't want to be 'stepmother' to his three kids with Kourtney Kardashian.

The stunning model, Sofia Richie, 22, is now dating a new guy after her split with the reality star Scott Disick, 37. And the close sources have revealed one of the reasons as to why Sofia split with Scott! Scott and Sofia called it quits after being together for three years as they had been facing problems in their relationship due to their massive age gap and that is the main reason for their split. According to the source, Sofia feels like she's just too young for her relationship with the Flip-It Like Disick star and she's just not ready to be the "stepmother" to Scott's three kids.

Sofia has recently been spotted on a date with the Cha Cha Macha co-founder Matthew Mortan and there have been rumors about them together. But according to the source, "She's not looking for anything too serious when it comes to relationship." The source also revealed that the two are not in a relationship as of now. "Sofia does not have a boyfriend. She's not going to rush into anything, but Matthews a cool guy and they hit it off," the source said. "Sofia's not looking for anything serious with anyone, nothing with labels. She's dating casually and having fun, that's it."

Scott and Khloe Kardashian, 36, also talked about his and Sofia's relationship in an interview in 2019. "I think you just gotta figure out really what's important to you at the end of the day," said Scott. "It's hard work for all the parties I think for Kourt, Sofia, they're all really strong like I'm really proud of all of them," said Koko. Khole also applauded Kourt, Scott, and Sofia for co-parenting their kids very well. 

Now the sources told Entertainment Tonight that Sofia is taking time to focus on her own. In fact, Sofia herself told the ET that fans shouldn't expect her on Keeping Up With The Kardashians more as she's focusing on another big dream. "The roles I'm reading right now are very like close to I feel like are kind of similar to me, so they are easy for me to play and I really really enjoy it," Sofia said.
