Lamar Odom's daughter, Destiny did open up about her view on dad's marriage with Khloe Kardashian but along with it she also revealed that she used to be a 'fan' of Khloe.

Destiny Odom, 22, opened up about being a fan of the reality star Khloe Kardashian, 36, as she used to religiously follow her and watch her on Keeping Up With The Kardashian. Little did she know back then that Khloe was destined to be her stepmother! Koko and Lamar Odom's, 40, marriage was a challenge for Destiny as she was having a hard time with having Khloe as her parent. Destiny has already explained Koko and her Lamar's marriage to be 'toxic' but she also did reveal that she used to follow her. “It was crazy that my dad was getting married to this woman that I used to watch religiously. It was such a whirlwind, really,” she said.

Destiny was a fan of Khloe as a reality star but she wasn't fond of her as her stepmother. As Destiny said, Lamar already had a career and fame in the athletic field but once he married Khloe his stardom heightened, and that is what created the problem. Lamar's family wasn't used to stardom and this made an impact on their relationship. “When your dad’s an NBA player that’s already enough, but when he’s marrying a reality TV star, things are so public and you don’t have a private life anymore,” Destiny said. 

Being the stepdaughter of Khloe did access her and her brother Lamar Jr. to multiple exclusive events but it changed her life. Lamar then used to become more distant with Destiny and her brother as his fame began to rise. And with less communication with dad and her rising fame as well, she faced a problem as a then-teenager.

With Khloe and Lamar's rising fame and success, their life was no longer private. Every little detail was out in the open which created a lot of problems in the marriage later. With transparency in their life, their marriage, infidelity, and Lamar's drug use was transparent too.

The couple was facing the problem together but on the other hand, Destiny was also facing their relationship's aftermath. “There were regular snide comments at school. And when his addiction became public, then it became a social media thing. Even people that I thought were my friends were saying stuff on social media. It was humiliating.”
