Kourtney Kardashian got criticized and was called ‘reckless’ for showing her support towards Kanye West for his 2020 presidential campaign by wearing a 'Vote Kanye' hat. Even a few of the celebrities called her out!

The POOSH founder, Kourtney Kardashian, 41, showed her support for brother-in-law Kanye West, 43, ahead of the presidential election, but she met with outrage. The rapper is now on the ballot of 12 states, but he's listed as the vice president of the American Independent Party with Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente as his running mate. Kourt took it to Instagram to share a selfie of her rocking a “Vote Kanye” hat with a swipe-up link that led to Kanye’s merchandise website.

Kanye has been facing backlash and criticism since the announcement of his presidential run in July, as many of the American citizens fear about Ye taking away votes from Joe Biden. This is why the fans were shocked and not amused with Kourt for supporting Ye. “Kourtney Kardashian posting an insta story to her 102 MILLION followers encouraging them to vote for Kanye is one of the most irresponsible, egregious and reckless uses of that family’s platform that I’ve ever seen,” one critic tweeted.

While another fan pointed out about Donald Trump's immigration policies which have torn families apart and its way of handling the COVID-19 pandemic. “I thought Kourtney Kardashian was more sensible than this. Kids have been locked in cages. 200,000+ Americans dead. And she is using her platform to promote voting for Kanye. Madness.”

Besides her fans, celebrities like RuPaul’s Drag Race star Kameron Michaels and Tyler Oakley also chimed in! “I had to check for myself [emoji] I don’t care if this is a mistake or a joke. Your platform is too big for you to do anything irresponsible like this. Fix it @kourtneykardash and do NOT write in or vote for @kanyewest,” Kameron wrote, while Tyler tweeted, “this is so embarrassing.”

Another fan found Kourt's post hypocritical given the lifestyle brand she built with her POOSH blog. “@kourtneykardashian touts herself as a person who wants a kinder, cleaner, better world for her kids but is recklessly promoting a Vote for Kanye which = a vote for Trump. She knows the reach of her platform she should know better,” the fan wrote.
