It's almost over a decade since the reality TV show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" have started and as the family announced the news about ending the show on Sept. 9, Kris Jenner finally spoke why!
"Keeping Up With The Kardashian" has changed the course of reality TV and has been able to get all the love and support from their fans since they first aired in 2007. But on Sept. 9, Kim Kardashian, 39, announced the news of the demise of the show in a lengthy Instagram post. Fans were very emotional after the news leaked and were speculating the reasons behind the decision but now the momager, Kris Jenner, 64, herself has spoken about it in an interview with the series creator Ryan Seacrest. "It's just the right time," Kris said.
Upon asking why the show ended out of sudden, Kris gave a simple answer saying, "I think the number 20, well it used to sound good until 2020, but the number 20, it just seemed like the right time." The momager explained that she's looking forward to the opportunity to "take a minute and breathe and [for] everybody [to] slow down a bit. Not slow down professionally, but... figure out what our next steps are."
"It's funny when we talked yesterday, I kinda had my wits about me and I thought I was really strong. And, you know, this is the right decision," Kris said. "Today I wake up and I was thinking about the first time you and I ever did an interview on the air, and I was so excited and so nervous." Kris ended the talk by calling "KUWTK" to be the "best home movies we'll ever be able to produce," also adding that they're "grateful for every single moment."
