North West made mommy Kim Kardashian shed tears of pride

Kim Kardashian's elder child, North West made mommy cry with pride with her singing debut at Paris Fashion Week which was shown during the Sept. 24 episode of ‘KUWTK.’

Kim Kardashian, 39, is one proud mom! Kim and sister Kourtney Kardashian, 41, both took their daughters North West, 7, and Penelope Disick, 8, to Kanye West's Paris Fashion Week on the Sept. 24 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The duo with their daughters was almost late for the show and the tension was high, but they reached right on time. Kanye took North backstage at the last minute to prepare her to sing. And when the moment finally came, Kim was anxious and her eyes welled up with tears of pride.

The show actually took place at the beginning of March, when the COVID-19 pandemic was first hitting Europe, which prevented Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick from attending the show. Kim and Kourtney with their daughters were also on high alert throughout the trip as the pandemic was spreading vigorously. Yet the virus didn't stop the fashion show from happening.

“I had no idea what the fashion show was going to look like in itself,” Kim explained the moment. “And when Kanye asked North, ‘Do you want to sing?’ the nerves that I have now….I mean, I see her at Sunday Service, but to do something on her own in front of all these people for the first time…she’s never even been up on a stage to practice! To see her up there, my nerves…I honestly start crying.”

Kim further went to explain that her tears were mixed with happiness and anxiousness. “I’m happy for her, but I’m so nervous for her,” Kim said. “I’m so proud of how confident she is. She obviously gets that from her dad. It just makes me so happy that she’s not afraid to try anything. That was so much fun for me to see. She’s fearless and I love that about her and I’m just such a proud mom.”

Kourtney was also just as proud of her niece. “With everything that’s been going on with coronavirus, I think it was just really so cool,” Kourt expressed. “Kanye was still able to do his show and then to see North have no fear and just get up there and do that was really, really cool.” North is already a star!
