Surprise after surprise! First Justin Bieber takes over the part of Drake in "POPSTAR" music video with DJ Khaled, then liy synced to Drake's line which was about his ex Selena Gomez.

Drake surprised the fans in July first by pushing the boundry as he name-dropped exes Justin Bieber, 26, and Selena Gomez, 28, during the verse of the song "POPSTAR" by DJ Khaled. And now, Drake has Justin take over his part in the music video which released on Sept. 3, which means that Justin mouthed Selena's name in the video, just image our surprise!

Let's talk from the start before getting into the point. The video started with Drake being bombarded by videos of DJ Khaled trying to convince him to make a video of his their collab song "Popstar.” This made Drake so desperate that he called Justin Bieber to do him a favour by pretending to be him in the video. As the music video proceeds, he lip syncs the line: “Look, Ariana, Selena, my Visa.”

Of course, it referred to none other than Ariana Grande and his ex Selena Gomez! Justin sticked to his principle and lip synced Selena's name but what makes things awkward is that all of this was just a bad dream. Justin wakes up next to his beloved wife as he wakes up from his dream. “You okay?,” Hailey says to which Justin replies, “Yeah I’m good, I had a crazy dream. Drake asked me to be in a video, but he wasn’t in the video…I love you baby.”

Justin's music video comes after fans caught him watching Selena’s new cooking show named Selena + Chef, on HBO Max in August. Justin had shared an image of HBO Max dashboard where the promo of Selena's show showed up. The show wasn't on Justin's watchlist but still the photo created a fuss.

Back in February, Justin had an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music where he revealed that he didn't treat his eight years of on and off relationship with Selena well. “In my previous relationship, I went off and just went crazy and went wild, just was being reckless,” Jusitn confessed. He said that he became better after Hailey entered the picture, whom he married in Sept. 2018. “This time, I took the time to really build myself and focus on me, and try to make the right decisions and all that sort of stuff. And yeah, I got better,” Justin said.

As for Selena, she just hoped for him to be genuine about his confession as a source told HollywoodLife that “Selena feels vindicated by Justin’s words but that doesn’t take back all that happened while they were together. Selena doesn’t want her relationship with Justin to define her but she does feel some comfort that he spoke out about what he did. She hopes that he is being genuine.”

It's loud and clear that Justin took the name of his ex Selena in the music video, but even if he does we know whom his heart truly belongs to!
