Brace yourselves, Swifties! Taylor Swift might just surprise you with her album "folklore" which has a bonus song, "The Lakes" that might just reveal her relationship status with Joe Alwyn.

Taylor Swift, 30, is going to release her eighth studio album "folklore" on August 7 and the fans who ordered a physical copy are anxiously waiting for its arrival. The album come with a bonus track, "The Lakes" and fans think that it will reveal a huge announcement about her relationship with Joe Alwyn, 29, whom she has been dating for more than 3 years.

Taylor announced the release of her new album in less than a year after the release of "Lover" on July 23, 2020. “Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen,” Swift shared on Instagram. “And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore. Surprise. Tonight at midnight, I’ll be releasing my entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into.”

The bonus track is a surprise for the fans, and they know very little about it as Taylor hasn't confirmed it to be on Genius Lyrics yet. What the fans know is that "The Lakes" comes from The National's Aaron Dessner, who told that Vulture folklore is Taylor's "goth record." He exclaimed saying "That's a Jack song," referring to Jack Antonoff, Taylor's long-time friend and collaborator. “It’s a beautiful kind of garden, or like you’re lost in a beautiful garden. There’s a kind of Greek poetry to it. Tragic poetry, I guess.”

Fans are finally going to understand the meaning behind "The Lakes" on August 7. One of her fans on TikTok speculated that it could be Taylor's way of announcing her engagement to Joe or it could possibly be her pregnancy.

They continued in the TikTok video: "In ‘Invisible String,’ she says that they got lunch ‘down by the lakes.’ The day we’re going to be able to hear ‘The Lakes’ is August 7. And I know what you’re thinking — there’s a song called ‘August’ and there’s a song called ‘Seven.’ Basically, August 7, we’re going to be able to hear some really big announcement in the song or a big announcement is going to happen August 7. I think Taylor’s getting married to Joe or maybe she’s already married and she’s going to announce it then or maybe she’s pregnant…"

Another fan on TikTok thought that it might be Taylor's announcement for her marriage or about her being already married to Joe. “OK Taylor Swift fans, my friend and I just discovered possibly the biggest Easter Egg in the folklore album,” her fan said.

Some fans have already hinted Taylor's pregnancy via the song "Peace." “Taylor, are you pregnant?” asked another fan on Twitter. “What are these words in a song ‘Peace?’ Your eyes are blue like ocean, Your brother is my brother, You are the family, I will give you the child… Please [tell] us, please — you can’t keep that secret.”
