In the latest episode where Mars was first introduced during the Black Clover Dungeon Exploration arc that as the with next villains in the series the Diamond Kingdom the latest arc of the series  has been  goodly change for the character completely with flipping against the Diamond Kingdom which the latest episode saw Mars &  Asta surprisingly working together in order to save the Fana of the eye of the Midnight Sun blowing herself up.

It was unveil that Fana is actually a Mars Friends back in Diamond Kingdom  where she was one of his fellow students where that he had to kill in order to pass out of the harsh training and seeing  her waking something in Mars which fueled by the dreams to save her and Asta work together to approach her.

As far Fana was preparing to  self detonate after she was deafted by Asta,Mars and Asta slowly approached her to get her to stop where the heat of her flames was too much strong and it burned the two as they nearly but Marks unleash the cloaked and Asta in his Phoenix Robe Magic order to save and heal them as they were damaged.

It was the first time where they have been  one another since the Dungeon exploration toward the starting of the series which two come to the mutual respect of one another that notes how brave Asta is in the face his desire to never give up made was of few Magic Knights name the titled.

Asta was  looking over to Mars that notes that he is no longer the cold, killing "doll" that he was during their first meeting where  He says Mars is stronger than ever because of his desire to save Fana which thankfully the two do just that  Mars is eventually able to talk Fana down from exploding, and Asta cuts through her magic with his anti-magic sword.In this moment, Mars takes the opportunity to hug her and this brings all of Fana's memories of Mars back to her.
