TOTTENHAM 1-2 LIVERPOOL: REDS RULED AT SPURS AS FIRMINO AND WIJNALDUM BOOSTS TITLE INTENTIONS

Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino got the goals as Liverpool sealed the victory against the confused Spurs side

Marking up the 5th consecutive win on the Saturday night. Liverpool continued their 100 percent start of the Premier League season with 2-1 victory against the Spurs side at Wembley on Saturday.

Georginio Wijnaldum  scored away from home for the first time in the Premier League and Roberto Firmino stretched the lead for Jurgen Klopp's side in the 54th minute.

In a tensed match Gini Wijnaldum handed the Reds a deserved lead through looping header on the cusp of half time and that goal turned to be the dominant and crucial first goal for Jurgen Klopp's side. Liverpool soon added the second goal after a scramble in the goal mouth saw Roberto Firmino secure his name on the scoresheet. Later in the injury time, Erik Lamela grabbed a consolation goal for the hosts which just ruined the clean sheet party for the reds.

Since the game was not too good for the star man Mohammad Salah of the reds, the match highlights was all about the Spurs Goal Keeper 'Vorm' whose multiple errors help the reds to emerge victory for the fifth consecutive match. If spurs are to get on to the league then Vorm is definitely not the solution for them now.
